Steve has over 30 years experience in cable telecommunications engineering working as Project Engineer/Regional Engineer for United Cable Television, Consulting Engineer for Ronald C. Cotten & Associates and Senior Director Engineering for Time Warner Cable. He has authored numerous technical articles and served as technical presenter at various conferences. Tim Yanda, TGY Enterprises, LLC, Principal Officer

Tim Yanda founded TGY Enterprises, LLC in 2011 to provide high quality personalized consulting services to the telecommunications industry. Drawing on his 30 years of technical and engineering experience in the cable television industry Mr. Yanda can support a wide variety of tasks. He is the former vice president of network operations at Cox Communications Cleveland. In his tenure he managed all aspects of technical operations including: the headend, engineering, outside plant construction and maintenance, business services solutions and customer premise equipment. Further Mr. Yanda managed many successful major network and facility upgrades such DOCSIS 3.0 high speed internet, On DEMAND, and various advanced digital video projects. In addition, he was involved with the building of a new headend and tower facility, as well as various fiber-optic network deployments including RFoG and the launch of residential and business telephone service in Cleveland.

In 1981, Mr. Yanda began his professional career at Cox Communications as a draftsman, and was promoted numerous times within the company. He held the positions of field audit supervisor, plant maintenance supervisor, inventory & facilities supervisor, upgrade project supervisor, plant manager, Primestar manager, director of engineering, director network operations among others.

Mr. Yanda graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications from Cleveland State University. He completed the Cox Communications Executive Development Program and holds several strategic planning certificates from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.

Mr. Yanda is a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and former member of the Cox CTO Council.
